Reconciliation & Indigenous partnerships

We are committed to making significant and lasting contributions to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples everywhere we work. This means building strong connections based on trust, collaboration, partnership, and delivering concrete actions leading to real and lasting change.

Indigenous partnerships: BRIDGES

Ausenco is committed to supporting Indigenous priorities through respect and collaboration. In Canada, through our BRIDGES (Building Relationships for Indigenous Development, Growth, Engagement & Sustainability) initiative, we are building strategic long-term partnerships with indigenous communities, economic development corporations and Indigenous-owned businesses. These partnerships involve agreements around revenue-sharing, training and mentorship of community talent, utilising community-owned businesses for projects, joint proposal development, and mutual support and access to work.

BRIDGES aims to create shared value, advance community defined priorities and ensure Indigenous participation in all aspects of project development and delivery. This includes Indigenous hiring, procurement, planning, project design, and co-execution. Our partnerships with Indigenous communities will also assist in integrating Traditional Knowledge, building trust, and achieving social acceptance on projects.

To learn more about Ausenco's approach to partnerships, see our BRIDGES brochure or read about our Community Empowerment Framework.
